We wanted to take a moment to share how much your donation has meant to our players and to let you know that your contributions are already making a difference.\r\n\r\nThe volleyball supplies and practice equipment have become a valuable part of our daily practices. Our athletes use them regularly to work on fundamental skills such as serving, passing, setting, and communication on the court. For many of our beginning players, having access to quality equipment has helped build confidence and accelerate their development. It has been rewarding to watch them grow not only in their volleyball abilities but also in their willingness to challenge themselves and work together as a team.\r\n\r\nYour donation has also provided protective gear that helps keep our players safe during practices and games. Knowing they have the proper equipment allows them to focus on learning, improving, and enjoying the sport with greater confidence. Creating a safe and supportive environment is important to our program, and your generosity has helped us do that for our athletes.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the water bottles and backpacks have been incredibly beneficial. These thoughtful items help our players stay organized and prepared while also encouraging healthy habits. The water bottles help keep them hydrated during long practices, while the backpacks give them a convenient way to carry their gear, uniforms, and personal belongings. These everyday necessities have made a meaningful impact on our students and have been greatly appreciated.\r\n\r\nWhat matters most is knowing that people believe in our athletes and support their success. Your generosity goes far beyond providing equipment. It sends a message to our players that their hard work matters and that others care about their growth both on and off the court. Through sports, our students learn important life lessons about teamwork, perseverance, responsibility, discipline, and sportsmanship, and your support helps make those opportunities possible.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of our coaches, players, and school community, thank you for investing in our team. Seeing the excitement on the students' faces as they use the new equipment and knowing they have the resources they need to succeed has been truly heartwarming. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and commitment to our program.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping our players grow, improve their skills, stay safe, and enjoy the game they love. Your generosity is making a lasting difference, and we deeply appreciate your support of our Boys Volleyball Team.","fullyFundedDate":1783915794044,"projectUrl":"project/crush-the-practicefuel-our-gear/10333837/","projectTitle":"Crush the Practice—Fuel Our Gear!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Orozco Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1901595_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1619909181551","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1901595"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8255","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":396,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":79,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":95,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":64.8,"schoolId":8255,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Eastwood Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Eastwood Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/houston-independent-school-district/eastwood-academy/8255"}
