In the last two years I've been at my school, I've been very lucky to have had resources for my classroom supplies, like index cards, printers, and doc cams. Due to this year's budget cuts, we have lost funding for necessary teaching supplies. In particular, our school has removed teachers' printers from our classrooms and given teachers a paper quota. We also have a doc cam shortage. These are two items that are essential to my teaching. Moreover, our students come to rely on their teachers and teachers' classrooms as the place to look when they need supplies. I want them to be able to count on me.
