The gift you have bestowed on my classroom is so cherished and appreciated. Immediately upon arrival, my class was beyond excited to guess what could be in the packages. I didn't tell them what I asked for as I wanted to surprise them. They took turns guessing (all the babies came in 1 box so it was BIG) and when I opened the box, the classroom exploded in cheers. Once we put the babies in our home center, I listened to them play. I heard them say \"this baby looks like my brother/sister\", \"this baby is my baby because it looks like me\", \"this baby has eyes like mine\", and \"me and my baby have the same skin\". We also used our new babies during a math lesson! We pretended our puppy had a birthday and all the babies were invited. We discussed what you have at a party and how many plates, cups, napkins, etc. we would need. The kids loved it! \r\n\r\nIn my classroom, I have several students facing challenges at home and you have given them the opportunity to create a loving home of their own with their friends in a safe place at school.
