It is the following school year and we are still using the donated Expo markers. The students love writing on their desks with the Expo marker, allowing everyone to have them. Expo markers can be one of the most expensive items on the school supply list and if parents cannot afford them then students have to do without or what usually happens is that I will buy them. I decided to get rid of my desks this year to make it easier for students to collaborate, but that required me to have alternative storage. I requested these cubbies thinking it would take months to fund or fund them myself but the donors did not let me down. I had never had a project fund so quickly as this project was. I thought that with the high amount it would be weeks if not months into the school year before we could get organized and establish a routine.
