The presentation clicker has already transformed the way my students deliver speeches and projects—rather than being tethered to the computer, they can now present with confidence and focus fully on their audience. The flash drives have been a lifesaver, ensuring that students' essays, presentations, and creative projects are saved and portable, reducing stress and giving them a greater sense of ownership over their work.\r\n\r\nThe creative supplies—washi tape, stickers, and scissors—have been an unexpected hit. My students light up when they can personalize their notebooks and annotate texts in colorful, hands-on ways. For many of them, this has turned reading and note-taking into a more interactive and enjoyable process. I've noticed quieter students especially take to these creative tools; decorating their work has become a way for them to express their personalities and take pride in their learning.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts has been watching students who are normally shy during presentations become more confident. With the clicker in hand, several students have told me they feel \"like real professionals\" while speaking in front of the class. Your support has given them the resources not only to succeed academically, but also to feel empowered, creative, and capable of sharing their voices. This project has made our classroom a more inspiring and supportive place, and I cannot thank you enough for investing in my students' growth.","fullyFundedDate":1746787147916,"projectUrl":"project/stocking-our-stories-essential-supplies/9194244/","projectTitle":"Stocking Our Stories: Essential Supplies for Student Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hill","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5700618_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1600365159185","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5700618"},{"teacherId":10112098,"projectId":9537089,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom through this DonorsChoose project. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference for my Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 students, and I am excited to share the impact your donations have already had.\r\n\r\nOver the last several weeks, my students have been steadily building their Spanish reading skills with the goal of confidently enjoying the amazing books you provided. Reading is one of the most powerful tools we have for language development, and these texts help us introduce key skills such as identifying cognates, recognizing high-frequency vocabulary, using context clues, and making simple inferences in a new language. In class, reading often looks like students settling into a quiet routine for 5–10 minutes, choosing a text that matches their level, and practicing new vocabulary in an authentic and meaningful way.\r\n\r\nSome students have already progressed enough to begin reading a few of the donated books, while others are working through short excerpts and level-appropriate readings that I provide. No matter where they are in their journey, we have seen immense growth—especially in the last week as our Spanish 1 classes have focused on short daily texts. I cannot wait to see all of them reach the point where reading a full book in Spanish feels natural and enjoyable.\r\n\r\nBeyond the books, the classroom supplies from this project have been some of our most-used items. Students reach for the highlighters, colored pencils, markers, and glue sticks every single day. The highlighters, especially, have become essential tools during reading and writing activities. Thanks to your donations, we have also completed several creative projects, including our unit on Latin American figures—some of which you can see in the photos we've shared. Additionally, having a fully stocked and organized classroom cabinet has made lesson preparation smoother and allowed us to use every minute of class time more effectively.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your kindness and support. Your contributions have provided not only materials, but also opportunities for inspiration, confidence, and growth in my students. We are deeply grateful that you chose to invest in our classroom, and we look forward to continuing to make the most of these resources throughout the year.","fullyFundedDate":1754942796247,"projectUrl":"project/colores-libros-y-ms-para-nuestra-clas/9537089/","projectTitle":"¡Colores, Libros Y Más Para Nuestra Clase De Español!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stanescu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10112098_orig.jpg?crop=608,608,x221,y146&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754353618626","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-stanescus-classroom"},{"teacherId":6916581,"projectId":8640291,"letterContent":"I just shared some images of a few of the projects students have worked on this year.
