Sometimes my students do well with academic workbooks and worksheets and other times they need more kinesthetic learning. The items included in this order allow for my students to learn through physical activity, \"doing,\" and hands-on experiences, rather than just listening or reading. \r\nActivities like the Lakeshore Alphabet cones and magnetic alphabet fishing games are so engaging for my students. Academic learning activities like these allow my students to stay engaged in important IEP goals and benchmarks. They enjoy building the ice-cream cones with upper and lowercase letters and fishing for the letters in our \"table pond\". These items have been such a great addition to our center rotations. \r\nAcademics are not out only focus. It is so important for my students to learn social-emotional skills as well. These student learning by repetition, observation and modeling. Receiving the Feeling and Emotions dough mats and the Dough and Paint Emotion Stampers have helped my students to recognize emotions on peoples faces and they are learning to \"read\" a person's face in a fun and engaging way.\r\nHaving an opportunity to have my classroom project funded has made so much of a difference in our everyday schedule and center rotations. We are finding it so much easier to engage our students and work on IEP goals with all these awesome gifts that you have provided us.
