They immediately noticed the bright, organized seat covers and couldn't wait to claim their spots. The new organizers have completely changed our classroom routine—students now keep their math tools, journals, and pencils neatly stored and easy to find. This simple change has helped them become more responsible and independent. The abacuses quickly became a class favorite! During math lessons, students eagerly grab them to practice counting, building numbers, and solving addition and subtraction problems in a hands-on way.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite classroom moments happened during a small-group math activity where students used the abacuses to solve word problems. They worked together, moving beads to show their thinking and explaining their strategies out loud. It was inspiring to see how confident and engaged they were, helping each other and truly understanding what they were doing.\r\n\r\nNow that my students are comfortable using the abacuses, we're taking the next step by applying them to more complex math concepts like regrouping and place value.
