They love being able to use the technology for our S.T.E.A.M.'s schools project based learning. We enjoy having our own computers and not having to go to the library to do research. We have studied how to reduce your carbon footprint, and made projects to help the Special's Team with their projects. In music the students made instruments out of recycled materials. They completed recycled materials in ART, and took up the recycled trash around the school in Science. They used the computer to generate individual project ideas such as conserving water and the art of recycling instead of filling up landfills. The computers also helped give the other teacher's information on their specific projects.\r\nSecondly, the computers have helped with students needing extra help on their work for extra tutoring. They can come into my room to emotionally regulate themselves, and oftentimes the frustration stems from the students not able to do the required work. The computers in my classroom enable the students to get on their district approved websites to help them learn the important skills of reading and math.\r\nFinally, the computers help the students be more independent and learn different programs to complete research papers.","fullyFundedDate":1733343103591,"projectUrl":"project/promoting-technology/8845336/","projectTitle":"Promoting Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Armstrong","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2660302_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y216&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740602752004","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2660302"},{"teacherId":3563311,"projectId":8586264,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your monetary donation in helping us be able to have a water cooler in our classroom!!
