My students sit in different color “families” at tables with no storage for their books and personal items. My school was provided very large bins last year for the sake of separation of supplies etc. to try to circumvent possible COVID-19 contamination between students. However, these bins were unusable due to their size and bulkiness. Sadly, it is no longer a requirement to individualize supplies for students , but I would still like to keep them safe and distanced. Smaller bins of their color family would not only do that but also give them ownership of their special materials. Any help would be much appreciated by my second graders and myself.
