Our campus mission is to empower scholars to be academically prepared, critically-thinking, and collaborative leaders. Playing Monopoly enforces such skills and as their math teacher, my goal is to equip each learner with necessary math skills and confidence to excel in the real-world. \r\n\r\nOur campus recently hosted a math night where families joined us to learn about the importance of teaching students about all things finances, even at their young age. This project allowed us to incorporate some fun throughout the night, allowing students to join in and learn about investing, real-estate, and business. I'm so proud to say that our advanced eighth grade team won 2nd and 3rd place in both tournaments, and all members won individual speaker awards.\r\n\r\nWe truly could not have accomplished that without your kind support. Our students are actively using the new volleyballs, soccer balls, and jump ropes during daily skill-building lessons and fitness stations. One special moment was during our first jump rope unit when students practiced crisscross and double cross-over skills. Many celebrated personal goals such as completing continuous jumps or mastering new techniques, which boosted confidence and motivation. The included ball bags and hand pumps have also been incredibly helpful, allowing us to quickly maintain equipment and minimize downtime during large group activities.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new equipment, the excitement was immediate. They eagerly helped unpack boxes, organize supplies, and test out the new gear. Since we recently moved into a new campus and some outdoor spaces are still being completed, this experience brought extra joy and anticipation to our classes. Even students who were shy about being photographed were enthusiastic to participate and try new activities. Seeing their smiles and energy reminded us how meaningful access to quality equipment can be.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building skills through structured team drills, cooperative games, and fitness challenges that promote leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Our current focus is improving endurance, coordination, and sportsmanship while ensuring every student stays active at the same time. Before, many of our projects existed only on a computer screen. Now, students can hold their work in their hands. They print storyboards, student created logos, podcast cover art, recruitment flyers, branding mockups, and game designs. Seeing their work in full color makes their projects feel real, professional, and important.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students is watching their ideas come to life. When a student designs a logo or layout and sees it printed in vibrant color, their reaction is immediate — smiles, pride, and often the words, \"This looks like something from a real company.\" That moment builds confidence and motivation that no digital screen can replace.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who once struggled to stay engaged have especially flourished with this new technology. One student who rarely completed assignments is now the first to volunteer to print drafts and post them in the room for others to see. Another student discovered a talent for photography after comparing printed photo proofs and making improvements. Students who never thought of themselves as \"creative\" are now excited to design, revise, and showcase their work.\r\n\r\nThis printer has not only improved the quality of student projects — it has changed how students see themselves.
