Share a specific classroom project or moment.**\r\n\r\nMy students are using the new resources not only in the classroom but also as part of activities that encourage volunteerism, teamwork, and community involvement. We are focusing on the importance of giving back and using our skills to help others. Students have opportunities to work together on projects and activities that connect what they learn in class to real needs in our school and community. Seeing students take ownership and volunteer their time to help others has been one of the most rewarding parts of these experiences.\r\n\r\n**How did your students react when they first saw the materials?**\r\n\r\nMy students were excited to see the new materials because they knew they would have an opportunity to use them in meaningful, hands-on activities. Many students immediately began thinking about ways they could use their skills to help others. It was great to see students realize that what they learn in school can be used outside the classroom to make a positive difference in their school and community.\r\n\r\n**What are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?**\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue providing students with opportunities to volunteer, serve others, and become more involved in their community. Students will continue working together on projects while developing important skills such as leadership, communication, responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving.
