On most days, it is a nice walk across the one street that separates our campus from theirs, but when the weather brings us rain, these wonderful umbrellas purchased through this Donors Choose project, allow my students to make these weekly visits with their sweet Villagers. \r\n\r\nAfter the umbrellas were delivered, I showed them to my students. They were delighted with the colorful umbrellas, but the best part came the first day it rained after we'd received them. Instead of having to call Hope Village and tell our friends that their PAL buddies wouldn't be able to walk over for their visits due to the rain, my PAL students were able to show up and surprise them! It was wonderful!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for contributing to this project and helping us begin a collection of umbrellas that my PAL students can use on inclement weather days.
