The PAL Classroom is a unique place for students to come every day where rather than work on their GPAs, they spend time developing and growing their LPAs (Life Point Average), which reflects what they're doing with their life that matters to someone other than themselves. With a focus on "giving ourselves away" comes a dynamic and varied classroom setting, so we move and change our physical format often. We also do a lot of activities together, some of which are so "fun" they can be quite hard on the chairs, thus the chairs we currently have in the PAL room have taken quite a beating over the years and most have bent frames and don't make for comfortable seating. My students work hard in school and on behalf of others and are some of the most generous, thoughtful, compassionate and kind young adults you'll ever meet. I would love to give them a space to meet when they come into the PAL Room that would offer them solid and sturdy seating as they take their rest, get refilled, and prepare to go out again.
