It has been an interesting, and unexpected, experience. I remember well what it felt like to try and focus on my assignments when I was hungry throughout the day, and rarely had the opportunity to grab a snack when I needed it the most. \r\n\r\nYour donations made it possible to give every single one of my students at least one opportunity to put something in their stomachs so they could satisfy a very real physical need before they are able to focus on learning. Unfortunately, many of my students live in rural areas, and are in low income families. I have been able to identify my students with the highest needs, and try to keep bringing food from home, or at times giving them my meals. It is a difficult, and expensive, task to try and keep 130 students full and happy.\r\n\r\nSo, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your generous donations. Though it may seem like a small thing, it means the world to me to be able to give my students even the smallest bit of comfort. You helped to make that possible.
