These items will be used in different exercises that will promote critical reading skills and critical analysis. All these items have been selected with a specific activity in mind that will teach diverse approaches to reading and provide practice in identifying important information while reading. The next step is allowing students to do something with that information. Critical thinking is something that is useful in all areas of a student's life. This is why it is so important to provide the opportunity to develop it as a skill. Critical thinking and a safe space to share opinions about how they critically think is always a top goal for my students.
