The students are able to take ownership of their activity and be responsible for the contents in the tray. When the students have completed their activity, they return the tray to the shelf.\r\n\r\nOur classroom donation included tubs and trays for storage and station activities. The donation also included two floor puzzles. One puzzle is an alphabet train. The other puzzle is a four seasons puzzle. My students love these floor puzzles! I am hoping to use these new books to instill a life-long love of reading in each of the children.\r\n\r\nThis year we are hoping to have more time to use the DEAR method. I am part of a rotation where every other week each grade will have an extra time to come to the library. We have decided to use that time to read for pleasure. With the busyness of the day to day classroom, there is hardly time to just stop and read. So I plan to allow the students to read for fun.\r\n\r\nAll of my students are big into the Dork Diaries and Dog Man books. I know that they will be thrilled to receive new and additional copies of those specific books.","fullyFundedDate":1746460276100,"projectUrl":"project/stacking-the-stacks/9261551/","projectTitle":"Stacking the Stacks","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Dusty","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9520288"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_14051","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":290,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":70,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":47,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":43,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":62.5,"schoolId":14051,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about East Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"East Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/brownwood-independent-school-district/east-elementary-school/14051"}
