We also tie our decorations to what is happening across our school. Seasonal learning, curriculum themes, and special author visits all come to life through the visuals we create. For our recent visit with local author Miguel Briones, we were able to design a special door decoration to welcome him. He thought it was awesome, and our students loved seeing Macho, the character they had gotten to know through his book. It was such a meaningful way to connect the visit to our luchador themed Battle of the Books, where every year we vote on our favorite stories we have read together in the library.\r\n\r\nThe Cricut vinyl helps us bring color, clarity, and creativity to every corner of our space. And the stuffed book characters are a huge hit. We absolutely love them. They bring stories to life in a way that makes our library feel cozy, magical, and full of wonder. We read Where's the Leaf Thief in the fall and Bundle Up, Penelope Rex in the winter during library storytime, and both were perfect for the season. I am thrilled to have board book versions that can stand up to lots of love and lots of little hands.\r\n\r\nI am especially excited about the board book edition of The Color Monster. It is a favorite among teachers and such a helpful tool for talking about feelings. Our Brown Bear, Brown Bear slide and find book was so loved that it finally wore out, so having a fresh copy feels like a small miracle.
