The stress balls, rainbow scratch paper, liquid motion bubblers, and squishy toys have been used to provide some downtime for my students when they feel overwhelmed. Students that enjoy drawing as a break have enjoyed the markers donated, especially the fruity smelling markers. I have been able to teach some much needed social-emotional lessons to students to help them better social with others. And who doesn't like a good snack as a reinforcer.
