Every material available, including book sets, audio books, IPads, and listening center devices will give my students the impulse the interest to immerse into the diverse genres available for them and create curiosity for long time learning and growing. Often times we tend to believe that our students will complete reading a book and may tell us what it is all about. What if we push them further and enable them to be creators and innovators? What if we ignite the desire to transfer their love for reading to the love of writing? It would be an investment that would pay off not just in classroom, but in their colleges and careers that await all of them.
