Currently in my classroom we use whiteboard for students to show their work during whole group, small group, and independent practice. We use them so often that we quickly run out of dry erase markers, which gets very expensive as the year progresses. I want something more efficient and economical and a LCD Boogie Board will do just that! Having a class set of Boogie Boards will actively engage and help motivate my students as well as help reduce the amount of dry erase markers we use each year. Having the Boogie Boards will make students' work shown during whole group or small groups more fun and more efficient. As a teacher, I need to see everything the students do, but I do not need to grade and return each and every paper. Individual Boogie tablets will allow me to assess quickly and see how I can help each student individually. It will also allow students to reflect, record, and compute in all subject areas!
