Because of your generosity, our students had the opportunity to choose brand-new books to take home and begin building their own personal home libraries. Many of our summer school students have very limited access to books outside of school, so watching them carefully browse the tables, excitedly compare titles with friends, and proudly select books that matched their own interests was incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nOne of the best parts of this project was seeing students genuinely excited about reading. Some students gravitated toward graphic novels and humorous chapter books, while others couldn't wait to find books about animals, science, or favorite characters. Giving students the power to choose their own books made the experience even more meaningful. Instead of simply receiving a book, they left with books they were excited to read and call their own.\r\n\r\nYour support did more than provide books—it helped spark enthusiasm for reading and showed our students that their community believes in them. This project also inspired additional community partnerships, allowing us to expand our summer literacy initiative even further. Because of donors like you, hundreds of elementary students were able to take home books this summer, helping them continue reading and learning long after the school year ended.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping foster a lifelong love of reading.
