Because of your generosity, my students had daily access to a Toddler Sand and Water Table that quickly became one of the most loved and valuable learning tools in our room. We used the table every day as part of our learning centers and sensory exploration time. Students explored water, sand, rice, kinetic sand, scoops, sponges, cups, toy animals, and textured objects. One especially meaningful moment was watching a student who uses a wheelchair independently roll up to the table for the first time and fully participate alongside peers. When the students first saw the table, their faces lit up with excitement. Many immediately reached out to touch the surface, explore the materials, and ask to take turns. Even students who are typically hesitant to try new activities were eager to engage. The table's accessible height and open design made every child feel welcome and capable, no matter their mobility level or sensory needs.\r\nThis resource has had a powerful impact on my students' sensory regulation, social interaction, and emotional development. The table provides a calming space where students can explore textures, practice fine motor skills, learn cause and effect, and develop communication skills through shared play. It has helped reduce overstimulation while encouraging cooperation, turn‑taking, and peer connection—skills that are essential for both school success and daily life.\r\nAlthough I am no longer in this specific Pre-K classroom at this school, this table was left in that classroom for future students to explore and learn just as my students did when this project was funded. Thank you so much for supporting my students- and future student in Pre-K. \r\nYour donation has created more than just an activity—it has created a safe, joyful space where students feel regulated, included, and confident to explore their world.
