A safe, relaxing environment is important to promote learning in the classroom today. Amid this uncertain time in the world unforeseen changes have come into all classrooms. Teachers have been teaching through distance learning but we long to be in class with our students. As we teachers enter the classroom this fall we know that we will be expected to keep our classrooms sanitized for our students in ways that we have not had to do in our previous years of teaching. I am starting at a new school this year and will be teaching Kindergarten students. Keeping things sanitized for five year olds will not be easy. I wanted to order a new carpet for my classroom, but a carpet is not easily sanitized daily possibly more than once a day. I found these vinyl cushions that I felt would give students a comfortable place to set and they can be sanitized after use. I hope you will consider helping me to provide my students with a safe and healthy environment to make learning together possible again.
