Your donations allowed us to receive a device that made our performance sound system Bluetooth capable, which allowed for better control of the sound system and, therefore, a more seamless and smooth performance. We have already used this device on three occasions: during a performance at our local courthouse during their Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a performance at a local senior living facility, and during our community Christmas concert. We also used the new microphone stand that you donated during our Christmas concert.\r\n\r\nYour donations also helped us to receive a CD set that has every national anthem in the world. I have students from several different countries, and it has been so exciting for them to hear the national anthems from their home countries and share about their music and culture with their classmates. Music is universal and unites us on deeper levels. Your generosity has helped to facilitate this deeper connection and, I believe, has helped to make our corner of the world a better and more understanding place. Having hard floors is an obstacle for kindergarten, and the rug has been a favorite spot for my students! The blocks have been used very frequently - helping with fine motor skills, problem solving thought pathways, and have been so enjoyable for them. The kitchen play set has been the biggest thrill for the students so far. They love using them for imaginative play, learning to work cooperatively and engaging in self-regulation and problem solving skills. This is so crucial for students to learn! Your donations have made such an impact on my class this year, I know the impact will continue on for many many years to come.
