When the materials first arrived, the students were thrilled and eager to begin using them. Their enthusiasm and appreciation were wonderful to see, and it reminded me how impactful community support can be for a classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, these resources will help support many future lessons and projects while encouraging creativity, confidence, and active participation. With their support, I'm able to provide materials and resources that go beyond the basics—things like flexible seating, interactive tools, and updated supplies that meet the diverse needs of my students. These additions not only make the classroom more comfortable and inviting, but they also help students stay focused, motivated, and excited to learn.\r\nBeyond the physical items, donations create opportunities for deeper learning and creativity. They allow me to design lessons that are more interactive, personalized, and responsive to different learning styles. Whether it's incorporating technology, building literacy centers, or creating project-based learning experiences, donor support helps me reach every child more effectively and ensures that no student feels left behind.\r\nMost importantly, these contributions send a powerful message to my students—that people believe in them and care about their success. The impact goes far beyond the classroom walls, shaping not only their academic growth but also their sense of value and possibility.","fullyFundedDate":1765489463197,"projectUrl":"project/stem-supplies/9881008/","projectTitle":"STEM Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Neil","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4129794_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1480910568462","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4129794"},{"teacherId":543206,"projectId":9768743,"letterContent":"My students were so excited when the materials began to arrive. They came over the course of about two weeks and it was so exciting getting packages to open almost every day! When everything had arrived, we spread it all out to get a group picture with our new materials. They couldn't believe how much new stuff we got! \r\n So far, the favorites have been the cars for our race track set, the Alpha and Number Bots, the paper for our easel, and the new bookshelves. They really love the bookshelf that holds our big books because it so much easier for them to choose a big book to read. They also love the snowflake lights that we put on our reading house for the winter. \r\n My teaching assistant and I have been greatly appreciative of the laminating sheets, the rainbow pencil holder, and the file folders. We are excited to use the liquid watercolors for the first time in January for a craft with the children.\r\n Both teachers and students absolutely love the new mulitcolored bins that we use in the cubbies to hold the children's snacks and headphones. They help make the cubbies look more organized instead of so cluttered! The kids love having their own bin to store their things in. \r\n We are all incredibly grateful for the generosity of the ACC, ESPN, and College Football Playoff Foundation for providing the funds for us to purchase these items for our classroom. I am also grateful for Mr. Ross Taylor for nominating me for this honor. Thank you all so much for the donation and for making such an incredible impact on our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1762397470828,"projectUrl":"project/extra-yard-for-teachers/9768743/","projectTitle":"Extra Yard for Teachers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/543206"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6302","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":759,"numTeachers":54,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":68,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":6,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":72.1,"schoolId":6302,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Clemson Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Clemson Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/pickens-county-school-district/clemson-elementary-school/6302"}
