I teach 76 students Language Arts. They love reading, but currently my library is lacking in books that they want to read. I need new books for them! Updating our classroom library will help them build their stamina and grow as readers and learners. We read independently for 15-20 minutes daily. Having new books will help make this easier. It will give them a chance to find that one special book could change their life forever! Being a language arts teacher is an amazing job that has such a tremendous impact on elementary school aged kids. I believe that with new books, some of my reluctant readers will be excited and will find that book that they fall in love with.
