These books about the parts of a plant have made our unit on plants a huge success! We studied their life cycles, the parts of a plant, and their functions. Not only did our new books provide my students with content knowledge but they also provided an opportunity for us to work on identifying the components of non fiction text like the table of contents and the glossary. \r\nStudents are allowed to access the books we are using in our current unit during our ELA time or when they have completed their work.
