My students have truly enjoyed the supplies given by you! They are excited every time they walk into the classroom and see how much the plants have grown in their hydroponics garden. The students are growing purple kale, spinach, lettuce, lemon basil, and green onions. We will be adding a few more items to our garden in the near future. \r\n\r\nWith this indoor garden, the students have learned that there is no need for soil and the experience has been eyeopening! Who knew that one could use only water and plant food to grow healthy, nutritious foods? They are also being taught about eating healthy and the importance of gaining nutrients through leafy greens. I have also heard students talk about growing their own hydroponic garden at home! It is my hope that that learning about hydroponics will impact the present and future health of my students.\r\n\r\nI would also like to thank you for the safety glasses and the elephant toothpaste kits that you sent as well.
