Having several titles in both English and Spanish has also helped my bilingual students feel seen and included.\r\n\r\nReading time feels exciting and personal again. These texts are already making a huge impact on my students. For many of them, reading has always felt like a challenge, but the accessible, high-interest stories you helped provide have opened the door to lessons on critical thinking, empathy, and cultural understanding. We've been able to practice skills like analyzing character choices, tracing themes across a story, and even comparing multiple perspectives on issues that directly connect to my students' lives.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom now looks vibrant and full of energy. Students gather in small book clubs to discuss their stories, and eagerly share their thoughts. The graphic novels, in particular, have drawn in reluctant readers who now rush to be the first to finish a chapter so they can share their take with their classmates.\r\n\r\nSome of the most rewarding moments have come from students who previously struggled to engage with reading. One multilingual learner recently told me, \"This is the first book I've actually wanted to finish,\" while another student who rarely participated in class is now volunteering to lead her group's discussion.
