This project involved multiple classes throughout our school in whole-group lessons as well as individual discoveries. Our students were so excited to be able to use these miniature magnifiers to get an up-close view of the world around them. Their curiosity was definitely piqued!\r\n\r\nWe explored so many pieces and textures throughout the library, and then we went outside and grabbed various items and brought them inside to look some more. I cannot tell you how many times I heard, \"I wonder what this will look like!\" I love their curiosity!\r\n\r\nAfter exploring as much as we could, we read some of the books provided by this project and discussed how our curiosity with people can be just as important as our curiosity about the world around us. We discussed how people can be different, but despite their differences, they can also share so many similarities.
