Your donation of stage makeup has already made a tremendous impact on our classroom and on the experiences my students are able to have.\r\n\r\nThis year, my students have been learning that theatre is much more than memorizing lines and performing on stage. They are exploring every aspect of production, including the art of theatrical makeup. Using the new makeup supplies, students have been practicing aging techniques, creating character looks, experimenting with fantasy and special effects, and learning how makeup helps tell a story and transform an actor into a believable character.\r\n\r\nWhen I introduced the new supplies, the excitement in the room was immediate. Many of my students had never worked with professional-quality stage makeup before, and they couldn't wait to start creating. They spent the class sharing ideas, helping one another, and proudly showing off their finished designs. It was wonderful to watch their creativity and confidence grow with each activity.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these materials will continue to be an essential part of our productions and classroom instruction. Students will use them to develop makeup designs for our upcoming performances while also building practical skills that are valuable in both theatre and other creative fields. They are beginning to understand that every role behind the scenes is just as important as the performers under the lights.\r\n\r\nThank you for making these opportunities possible. Your kindness has provided my students with hands-on experiences that many of them would not have had otherwise. Your support is helping them discover new talents, build confidence, and experience the magic of theatre in a whole new way.\r\n\r\nWith sincere gratitude,\r\n\r\nKimberly Guinn\r\nTheatre Director\r\nHilton Head Island High School","fullyFundedDate":1757528689932,"projectUrl":"project/the-haunt-at-hhihs-fundraiser/9691730/","projectTitle":"The Haunt at HHIHS Fundraiser","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Guinn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9743085"},{"teacherId":4604588,"projectId":10168474,"letterContent":"This grant was a rewarding grant!
