Through the purchase of a mobile cart, professional tools, and essential technical support materials, our students now have access to resources that mirror those used by technology professionals in the workplace. Rather than simply learning about computer hardware and troubleshooting from a textbook, students can gain hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and maintaining devices used throughout our school. This real-world learning helps students build confidence, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and better prepares them for careers in Information Technology.\r\n\r\nThe new equipment has generated excitement throughout our program because it has transformed our classroom into a more authentic technology support environment. Students especially enjoy having access to professional-grade tools and an organized mobile workstation that allows them to respond to service requests across campus. They take pride in applying their skills to help teachers, staff, and fellow students while gaining valuable experience that aligns with industry expectations. The ability to work with equipment similar to what they may encounter in future careers makes learning more engaging and meaningful.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have truly flourished as a result of these new resources. Students who were initially hesitant to work with computer hardware have become more confident and eager to take on leadership roles during repair projects. Others who are pursuing technology-related careers have embraced the opportunity to deepen their technical skills through hands-on practice and peer mentoring. The grant has not only enhanced our program's capabilities but has also inspired students to see themselves as future IT professionals. We are incredibly grateful to TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Charities for investing in our students and helping create opportunities that will benefit them long after graduation.","fullyFundedDate":1779390996333,"projectUrl":"project/champions-of-the-classroom-grant-wishlis/10238702/","projectTitle":"Champions of the Classroom Grant WishList","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. O'Rourke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6538492"},{"teacherId":10173321,"projectId":9583739,"letterContent":"On behalf of our entire marching band, we want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation toward our program this season.
