The soundproof panels that have been purchased have been delivered and we are ready to install them. These panels will help with sound that comes from the music room as students learn to play a variety of instruments. \r\nThe colorful panels have generated many questions from the students and they are excited about the idea of having better acoustics in the music room as well as quieter classes in the adjoining rooms. I also have been able to replace several weaving looms which have have notches broken off of them which makes them hard to use. The new looms will allow for easier weaving.\r\n\r\nReplacing the ten year old tennis balls on my chairs will make the art studio a quiet and more peaceful place to transition. The storage bins that were purchased have helped organized frequently donated materials like yarn and fabric. The students who assisted with this project were very excited to consolidate bags of donated items to bins. They were able to use my label maker to label the boxes to make them easier to locate in the storage room. \r\nIn the future years, items will be easier to locate and replenish as more items get donated or purchased for the art studio.
