Headphones will help my students get access to different technology in the classroom like the listening center and computers! Listening centers provide students with a common text and a CD that reads it to them. It's important for young students to listen to read alouds, so they can hear what fluent, expressive reading sounds like. Once my students have headphones, we will not only have access to listening centers but also computer programs like Math Seeds and Reading Eggs. Once logged on in the classroom, students can use these programs in the classroom daily as well as at home.
