Immediate responses upon walking into the room on the day our new rug was delivered included- but are not limited to- \"The rug has orange in it!\", \"It's so fluffy!\", \"Can I touch it?\", \"Did someone do magic and make our rug nice?\" and genuine squeals of excitement.\r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for this rug. Not only was our old rug about 10 years old, but it was also possibly moldy after being left out in the rain this summer for a week by a cleaning crew. It smelled bad and was making me ill as I have pretty severe allergies. \r\n\r\nWe spend much of our day on the rug with 28 students, and 2-3 teachers and aides at any given point of the day. We do a morning circle every day where we check in about how we're feeling, we do math word problems in a circle where scholars can easily turn and share with partners, we read stories, we do science experiments, and much more. The rug is an integral part of our classroom. It's where we come together as a community, and now, thanks to you, we have a clean, safe place to do that.
