The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! My students love to be able to use tools and hand-on learning to become efficient in math. When students have the right tools, they are able to succeed and reach new milestones! Currently we have no calculator's, and students are expected to focus on mental math or writing it out, instead of using the math equations they know and applying a concept. Once they have mental math fluency, using calculators help them to understand the concepts, and apply the math to real world situations in which it would be used.
