It gives me and my students peace of mind knowing that they will be able to dedicate all of their focus and brainpower to learning rather than basic needs.\r\n\r\nI plan to post another project in the near future to restock on some of their favorite healthier food choices. Students have already put the classroom library of science books to great use during our independent reading time. They particularly enjoy the National Geographic books, and have even asked to take them home to read. We have conducted several labs using the scale we were able to purchase, and have been able to compare the masses of various objects as students learn about observing and measuring matter.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students feel like true scientists when they step into this room, and have fully embraced the content and skills in our first unit.
