Students with Autism sometimes struggle socially and require direct instruction in social skills. Each day, I hold a social skills group (we like to call it Club Social Skills) with most of the students on my caseload.\r\n\r\nWe follow curriculums that align to the Spots of Emotion books, which is why we wanted more to add to our collection. These books do a wonderful job describing emotions and relating it to the students. The spots are each an emotion and they carry so many meanings and awesome examples to share with the students. My kiddos love them!!\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to find resources and curriculums that best meet the needs of my students. Since I teach multiple grade levels and abilities, I am constantly looking for instructional tools and resources to provide individualized instruction for each different student each school year.
