This donation will ensure that my second semester students have the materials they need. Having access to these essential supplies makes a real difference in the classroom, and I am so appreciative of your support.\r\n\r\nMy students were especially excited to receive the fidgets & manipulatives. Your generosity has allowed me to acquire class sets of composition books for all of my class periods. My students have already started using these notebooks for their Daily Journal notebooks for the 2024-2025 school-year. Anyone familiar with Collins' philosophy on teaching English / ELA will know that one of the best ways to improve students' endurance with writing, reading, and analysis of text is to lead them in writing every day. That is the goal of these composition books. They are being used for Do-Nows, notes, Collins Type-1 (low-stake) writing assignments, and other forms of formative assessment. \r\nYou donation has already increased student engagement in these types of assignments and has made it easier for me to grade them all in a timely manner. We received brand new tables and wheeled chairs, and they've made a huge difference in how we learn and work. Before, our old desks were cramped and uncomfortable, making it hard to focus. Now, with the new tables, we have more space to spread out our books and papers, and the wheeled chairs make it easy to move around the classroom. \r\n\r\nThe new tables have also allowed us to be more creative with our learning space. We can easily rearrange the tables to create different learning zones, like a group work area or a presentation space. The wheeled chairs are a big hit with the students, too. They love being able to move around the classroom easily, and they're much more comfortable than the old chairs. This flexibility helps us learn in a way that's more engaging. \r\n\r\nThanks to DonorsChoose, our classroom is now a more comfortable, engaging, and dynamic learning environment.
