I ask the students what characters to print out for the coloring pages to help keep them interested. We have already added the equipment to our playground. I stayed on the playground with each of the grades to showcase the donations and how they will be used on the playground.\r\n\r\n Our students were so surprised to see all of the new equipment! Due to budget constraints We sectioned off a portion of the playground and did demonstrations as to how the equipment is to be used. We then created groups of students (approximately 5-7 in a group). Each group played with the equipment for 10 minute blocks, and then rotated to the new equipment.\r\n\r\n We are so grateful for the donations. The bean bag chairs created an instant sense of calm and safety—students often comment on how the room feels like a place where they can truly relax and refocus.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new materials, their reactions were immediate and genuine. Many were excited to try the fidgets and gravitated toward the new materials without hesitation. Others were drawn to the new books on mental health and began asking thoughtful questions, sparking meaningful conversations about anxiety, emotions, and coping skills.
