Before we had the seat sacks, student folders and tools were kept on the tables and cluttering up the student workspace. Additionally, since I teach 3 sections of math and therefore have students from 3 different classes using the same workspace the materials were getting mixed up and lost.\r\nThe seat sacks are an attractive and efficient way to organize the student materials in our classroom. I love that it is double sided because the students can start off with the side that goes up to 10 and when they are comfortable with that and ready to add and subtract with larger numbers, they can start using the other side. We love this resource! Our school held its annual Fun Day event for students in grades pre-K through 5. We had over 300 student participants. The weather was beautiful and the activities were plentiful! \r\n There were 6 station rotations which were allotted 40 minutes per station. The event ran from 10am-3pm with an hour for lunch in the middle. Out of the 6 stations 4 had a food snack. It is safe to say the cotton candy station was the biggest hit! The students were super excited to pick their flavor and enjoy the sweet treat while strolling around playing games and winning prizes. The cotton candy smelled SO good too, everyone was coming over to check it out including adults! The thing that really got me is that some students had never tried cotton candy before, this was their first time. No doubt the squishy mooshi's have been a big hit this year! Also, this time, the sticky hand toys went like lightening!
