The students are incredibly grateful to see brand new resources in their mathematics classroom. They have already begun using each new item as soon as it arrives.\r\n\r\nI have really noticed the impact within the classroom. Students entered my classroom over the past two weeks excited to see what shipments had arrived. Our lap desks were the first to arrive, and students immediately found a space to sit in the classroom. They began working on their mathematics either on technology or using paper/pencil. The students were ecstatic to find a new space within the classroom to work. The following Monday everything else arrived. Students utilized the headphones for both calm during their independent time and to hear aloud explanations from their technology-based mathematics resources. Others grabbed their stools or cushions for their spaces in the classroom, and the dry-erase boards, doorbell, and tissues will be used within our classroom throughout the remainder of the school year.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your donations and appreciation for our classroom. Their faces lit up with joy, and they couldn't wait to dive in and start creating. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and curiosity spark right away. As we continue incorporating science into our learning, our next step is to take our explorations outdoors.
