When they opened the box then one of them would hold up the supplies and there would be outbursts of \"wows\" and \"cool\". Their eyes especially lit up when they found the snacks. No big surprise there. These will come in handy when we take our state testing at the end of the month. We used our chopsticks to eat noodles. Some scholars knew how to use them and to some it was a new experience. They all loved it. We watched videos of the celebration and finished our meal off with a fortune cookie. The fun did not stop there. Each young scholar received a red envelope with money (fake of course) in it. They had to count their coins and bills then come to me and tell me how much they have. Then they were able to receive a prize.
