Your support has transformed our classroom into a vibrant hub of discovery where my students are now truly excited to dive into the world of letters and sounds.\r\nBefore this project, many of my students struggled to stay engaged with traditional alphabet lessons. Now, thanks to you, our literacy center is the most popular spot in the room! Whether using play dough to mold letters, building letters with construction manipulatives, or matching capital and lowercase letter manipulatives, my students are learning through the power of play.\r\nBecause of your gift, these young learners are building a rock-solid foundation for kindergarten. I have already seen a boost in their confidence—students who were once hesitant to identify letters are now proudly showing off the sounds they've mastered. You haven't just provided \"stuff\"; you've provided the tools for my students to see themselves as successful readers-to-be.\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and for believing in the potential of these amazing PreK students!","fullyFundedDate":1768394716624,"projectUrl":"project/little-minds-at-work-alphabet-center/9964872/","projectTitle":"Little Minds at Work Alphabet Center","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tracy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10114526"},{"teacherId":10114526,"projectId":9543578,"letterContent":"When I first saw that our \"Little Hands at Work\" project was funded, I immediately thought of my preschoolers' faces. I wanted to bring joy back into learning for them. Because of your incredible generosity, our classroom has been transformed into a buzzing hub of hands-on exploration! \r\nThe impact of these new manipulatives was immediate. The day the boxes arrived, the children were in awe. We immediately opened the sensory bin toys and magnetic tiles. My students are now building amazing vehicles and enjoyng the magic pluffle.\r\nI have seen such a dramatic shift in engagement. The best part? They are learning functional skills and strengthening their hand muscles—essential for writing—while thinking they are just playing. These tools allow my little learners to grasp concrete concepts before moving to abstract thinking, setting a solid foundation for their future education.\r\nYour support has given my students the tools to feel successful, confident, and excited to come to school.
