Every student receives a computer from the school. Many of my students are in 3rd and 4th grade but are still working on learning to read. This means that many of their assignments they struggle to understand since they cannot read the directions. The headphones have become a tool for listening. Many assignments can be read out loud to students on the computers, so they can listen with their headphones. The headphones have also allowed them to participate in reading interventions such as iReady. We have even been filming out own class audio book using the headphones!\r\n\r\nThese colorful headphone options were very exciting to my students. They were very excited to pick a color and put their name on their own headphones. We have been using them just about every day!
