In this day and age of young people constantly being on their technology, it is wonderful to see and experience the students in my classroom cracking open books, diving into them, and actually enjoying the experience of reading a good book.\r\n\r\nMy hope, by providing a library filled with high interest, young adult novels is to cultivate a love of reading in my students. Once they are done reading their books, students then present a \"Book Talk\" to their peers where they highlight the key elements of the book they chose to read. They highlight the key characters, plot details, and themes of their individual book.
