When my 7th graders put them on, the busy world of the classroom fades, and they gain a quiet, dedicated space where their curriculum, like i-Ready, can speak directly to them. This dedicated focus has been revolutionary: our teachers are seeing students who were once easily derailed now staying on task, which is directly translating to higher levels of engagement and visibly better performance across the board. The ability for them to clearly hear instructional content, work at their own pace, and block out external noise ensures they feel respected and prepared to learn.\r\n\r\nWhat gets the students truly excited, though, is the feeling of being ready and in control. The headphones give them ownership over their learning world, turning a sometimes-daunting assignment into a challenge they feel equipped to conquer.
