My deserving sophomores are hard-working readers, writers, and goal-diggers in need of Google Chromebooks in their Literature classroom. As a first-generation college graduate from a similar background as some of my students, I know the road, expectations, and competition that lies ahead. Having our own class set of laptops will not only allow my students to do research and write essays, stories, and poetry, but having our own class set of laptops levels the playing field a bit. Having easy access to technology will allow my students to develop and strengthen the skills needed to get to and through college.
