I apologize for the delay in getting this letter out. As a first year teacher, I am always working on something but rest assured I would not let too much time come and go without expressing my gratitude. \n\nMy students LOVED the sensory bins that I was able to put together using your donations. My students have a wide range of abilities and needs and these bins were able to meet all of them where they were at! Some students sorted by color. Others described textures and used music vocabulary. Others used it as a break to regulate their bodies during a loaded academic day.\n\nThe next steps for my students is their new theme unit: Forecast Fun! Though we will not have a themed sensory bin, there will still be opportunities for hands on learning.
