Because of you, I was able to put the HAPPY back in birthday for so many of my first graders! \r\nThe night before their big day, I take the materials and make a little birthday treat cup for them. In the morning, I place the cup and crown on their desks so when they walk in their treat and crown are ready to celebrate their special day with them. \r\nI love watching the looks on their faces when they see their treats. They get huge smiles and can't wait to show all around them. It warms my heart in so many ways! The kids now have started a count down to the next birthday in our room. They remind me days before leading up to their big day. \" I can't wait to get my treat! Don't forget my birthday is in 2 days!!!\" \r\nThank you for helping me celebrate these special days and moments with them! You have forever touched my heart and this will be a classroom tradition that I will continue with!
